How to Register a Domain Name with GoDaddy
Then type in your chosen Domain Name in the search box.
Check the discounted and renewal pricing. If you are happy, click “Make it yours” to purchase the domain.
You will see that GoDaddy offers a free website builder and free privacy protection with all domain purchases.
You might see a notification stating, “We can give you only one domain for $2.17, but feel free to add others at regular price”. Special discounts may apply to certain top-level domains.
Click “Continue” to proceed.
You should deselect any add-ons you do not want on this screen. Privacy protection is already included free of charge.
In this tutorial, we are deselecting any paid add-ons, but you may wish to add them at this stage.
Once you are happy, click “Continue to Cart”.
GoDaddy sets the default term for two years, but you can change this to between 1 and 10 years. In this tutorial, we will change to a 1-year term.
You will see that the GoDaddy Coupon was added automatically.
Once you have selected your term, click the “I’m Ready to Pay” button.
If you have one, sign in to your GoDaddy account, or follow the instructions to create a new one.
Once you have entered your billing information, click “Complete Purchase”.
